The Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity (TEEB) Agrifood Project supports organizations in the agrifood sector to build resilience, protect biodiversity and mainstream best practice to support a sustainable business and food system transition.
The recently published TEEBAgrifood Operational Guidelines for Business were piloted in 7 countries (Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, and Thailand) with almost 30 businesses.
The footage was shot by local crews:
– Bruna Arcangelo (Brazil)
– Maho Irigoyen (Mexico)
The guidelines provide a practical way for businesses to understand and act upon their impact and dependency on the capitals.
Piloting organisations are represented in the Guidelines as real-life, practical examples to demonstrate agrifood business applications of the capitals approach.
