CNV Internationaal is a civil society organisation in The Netherlands. It has been working with trade unions in developing countries since 1967. Together with its partner organisations, CNV Internationaal protects and promotes workers’ rights.
In Cambodia, CNV Internationaal partners with independent unions, such as CLC (Cambodian Labour Confederation) and C.CAWDU (Independent Garment Union). Via these local unions, CNV receives up-to-date information about the actual working conditions in garment factories.
For this video, we interviewed factory workers, factory managers, trade unions leaders and CNV representatives about the situation in Cambodia’s garment industry.
